Tim Flanagan, a native to Winter Park Colorado.

The Flanagan family has a long history in the snow sports industry. His father, Maury “Foghorn” Flanagan, came west from New Hampshire and lived as a ski bum in the early 1950’s.Maury lived in the back of a station wagon, trading labor for food and tow tickets. His travels took him to Sun Valley, Mt. Hood, Alta, A-Basin, Berthoud Pass and many more.Eventually he settled in Winter Park, Colorado and gave up “bumming” in exchange for being a full-time Ski Instructor for the Winter Park, Colorado Ski School. The lifestyle remained, but the income stream changed. He met his wife Glenda and she also became a ski instructor. Together they shared an amazing lifestyle and continued living the dream. The Flanagan Family started a ski shop business which grew into seven Colorado locations. The lifestyle never changed.

Glenda and Maury’s son, Tim, was born into this dream life and it became his passion as well. He started ski racing at a young age and eventually became the head alpine ski team coach for the United States Air Force Academy. Tim met his wife Caryn at a ski race. Together they took over the family business and eventually sold it. They have two daughters who love to ski and continue their lifestyle in Jackson, Wyoming. Shortly after moving to Jackson Hole, Tim became a snow sports industry consultant working for The Four Seasons Resort and Terra Resort Group.
